DHS Grants
Eleven different Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants can be utilized to acquire MadahCom’s Mass Notification System. WAVES MNS falls under the: DHS Office of Domestic Preparedness’ (ODP) Authorized Equipment List (AEL) and Standardized Equipment List (SEL) Category 13 Terrorism Incident Prevention Equipment, 13IT-00-ALRT – System, Alert/Notification. It is also qualified under AEL Category 4 Information Technology 04AP-09-ALRT - Systems, Public Notification and Warning.
DHS grants allocated for 13IT-00-ALRT and 04AP-09-ALRT include:
- FY06 Chemical Sector Buffer Zone Protection Program (Chem-BZPP)
- FY07 Buffer Zone Protection Program (BZPP)
- FY07 Citizen Corps Program (CCP)
- FY07 Emergency Management Performance Grants (EMPG)
